Instructors completing the Faculty Development Program modules will receive credit toward their Master Educator Certification.

What is the Faculty Development Program?
Our Faculty Development Program strives to meet the unique needs of those who teach the adult learner. The program is divided into 18 modules that address strategies for effective teaching and instructional support. Each module contains educational theory, classroom tips, valuable activities, and ideas for improvement. Reflection Questions are interspersed throughout—asking instructors to think about their courses, past practices, current teaching skills, and future goals. Engaging individual, group, and internet activities are included at the end of each module section. These activities assist instructors in: assessing their own teaching, developing additional skills, and practicing strategies presented in the content. Also included in each module are ideas for building a Professional Development Portfolio and an Instructor Improvement Plan.
